Catalog desk terms
These terms govern access to and use of the Leuchtturm1917 B2B catalog, the Catalog Builder, the RFP intake form and any EDI / punchout connections established with your procurement platform. They apply to verified business buyers only.
Access to the Leuchtturm1917 B2B catalog is restricted to businesses, public-sector buyers and authorised resellers. A verified buyer code is required before any RFP can be processed or any sample lot despatched. Buyer codes are non-transferable and may be suspended if misuse is identified.
List prices shown in the Catalog Builder are indicative and subject to confirmation in a written quote from the catalog desk. Minimum order quantities, lead time tiers and FOB / DDP / EXW splits are confirmed per quote and may differ from indicative values for non-stocked colours, custom debossing or expedited despatch.
All product specifications are issued in writing on the spec sheet attached to your quote. Physical samples ship as production-grade reference units. Compliance with ISO 11798, FSC Mix CoC, REACH, EN71-3 and CPSIA Section 101 is confirmed per SKU in the spec sheet; documentation copies are released under NDA on request.
Standard payment terms are net 30 days from invoice date for established accounts. Accounts in their first twelve months operate on pro-forma terms unless an alternative is documented in a credit agreement. Late payment is governed by the laws applicable to the contracting Leuchtturm1917 entity.
EDI handshakes (OCI, cXML, EDIFACT) follow a sandbox-to-production cutover procedure documented separately and signed by both parties. Production transactions are governed by the standard transactions specified in the integration document (typically 850 / 855 / 856 / 810 for EDIFACT environments).
The Leuchtturm1917 wordmark, lighthouse glyph and catalog imagery remain the property of Leuchtturm Albenverlag GmbH & Co. KG. Reuse of catalog images requires prior written permission. Custom-debossed cover artwork supplied by you remains your property; you grant Leuchtturm1917 a limited licence to reproduce it for the agreed production run.
Leuchtturm1917 supplies catalog-grade notebooks, writing instruments and accessories for business use. Liability for indirect or consequential loss is excluded to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any matter that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Contracts placed with the European catalog desk are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. Contracts placed with the United States distribution centre are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island. Disputes are resolved through the competent courts of the relevant jurisdiction unless otherwise agreed in writing.
These terms are reviewed at each catalog publication cycle (twice yearly). Material changes are flagged in the procurement notes blog and on the buyer-code login page; existing contracts continue to operate under the version effective at signature unless renegotiated.
